BES Holiday Store
In December the Bellefonte Elementary School holds a Holiday Store for students who attend B.E.
​
The store provides an opportunity for students to shop independently for their family members and friends (don't worry, we have shopping helpers for our youngest students). This initiative is partially funded by the BES PTO, but is only possible due to many, many donations of items and time. The Holiday Store Committee sources gifts, seeks contributions, donations and crafts items year round. We work hard to stock the Store and to offer a wonderful selection of items for the kids to shop (up to 10 items per student) at $1 each!!! We have volunteers to 'shop' and store items through the year, others to create crafts and organize inventory as donations come in, to plan the day, even to make gift bags in advance!
This is definitely a popular event at the School and it is only possible thanks to volunteers and year-round contributions and donations. Please consider helping this initiative and read below for more information.

​We are always looking for volunteers. Sign-up below to help or just show up to any of our crafting nights at School, no special skills needed, even some current BES students help! (No clearances are needed to volunteer after School hours).

Donations Needed to stock the store
The Holiday Store collects items all year. Please consider donating items in the following categories:​ Baby, Girls, Boys, Women, Men (Hunting & Fishing, Teams & Sports), Pets, Jewelry, Decorations/Crafts, Kitchen, Food items- such as candy will be received in the second half of 2025 to ensure they are within date and stored safely). Items can be dropped off at the School addressed to the Holiday Store Committee year round.
When donating items, please keep in mind that the students will purchase these for $1 and will need to carry up to 10 items back home after they shop.

Are you a crafter? We always welcome any crafts you can make independently (or join our team, we welcome any help and fresh ideas - the more the merrier).
​
Every little bit helps! We aim to collect a minimum 4,000 items to make the Holiday Store happen and keep this affordable for all BES families.
